- Hire out yours services as a dog or pet walker.
- Run errands for people whose schedule is too busy to do the mundane things that have to be done
- Shop for elderly or shut ins
- Shop for executives who don't like to shop for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Valentines or any occasion.
- Mow grass and take care of peoples yards, clean up in spring and fall
- Take a part time job at a restaurant or bar. If you serve well the tips can be very good.
- Make stuff to sell. Baking, crafts, woodwork, jewelery are some ideas to get your creative juices flowing. You can sell some of your creations on sites like Etsy.com which is devoted to crafty vendors.
- Rent out a room in your house for a short or longer term. You can make more money by adding services like meals, laundry, etc.
- Sell stuff on Ebay or Craigslist.
- Collect your change. I'm amazed at how many dollars collect in my coin jar in a short period of time. I simply empty my pocket of change and deposit it into my jar.
